Why We Built This Site
Minnesota gives the public access to many court records, but the access route depends on the record. Aitkin County District Court handles civil, criminal, family, probate, juvenile, traffic, and conciliation matters through the unified state trial court. Aitkin County Court Administration is the record counter for certified court copies and case questions. The Sheriff handles jail and warrant contacts. The Treasurer handles marriage licenses and marriage certificates, while the Recorder handles land records and several county recording duties.
